What To Expect

RESERVATIONS

Will I need to make reservations?

In order to comply with Hawaii’s mandates, attendees must register online at newhopeleeward.org or on our NHL app and receive an online confirmation for the service they will attend.

What If I am unable to make a reservation online?

If you are unable to reserve online, please call our office at 808-678-3778.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

What is NHL doing to provide a safe environment?

Our facilities team has worked hard to ensure that our campuses  are safe for you and your ‘ohana.  They sanitized and cleaned both campuses, installed touch less sinks and toilets in our bathrooms, and placed hand sanitizing stations throughout the campus.  We will clean and disinfect our sanctuary, seats, and other areas/surfaces after every service.

Do I need to wear a mask?

For the safety of everyone, we require that you and your family (anyone 2 years old and up) wear a mask or face covering.  If you are unable to wear a mask for health reasons, please join us online at newhopeleeward.org , on our NHL app, YouTube, or Facebook.

CAMPUS EXPERIENCE

Which location will be open?

We will have services at our Kapolei Campus (KC) on Sundays at 7am, 9am, and 11am.  Our Waipahu Campus (WC) will remain closed during this time.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive 15-20 minutes prior to service.  Our volunteers will be there to greet you when you arrive and will direct you where to line up.  Please bring your reservation confirmation with you (printed or on your phone).

What should I expect when I arrive?

Our staff and volunteers will be there to greet you with shakas and smiles behind their mask.  They will guide you in and out of our campus and we’ll have signs to guide you too.  We kindly ask that everyone practice social distancing (i.e. please refrain from hugging and/or kissing people when you see them for this season - throwing shakas are ok!) while at our Kapolei campus.

Will I get to choose where to sit?

During this time, you will not be able to choose your seats.  Please make sure that everyone in your ‘ohana is together before entering the foyer.  As you enter our foyer, you will be directed by our greeters to one of our three sanctuary door entrances marked by colored signs .  At that door, our ushers will seat everyone in the order that they arrive.  At the end of service, please remain seated until our ushers direct you to the exit doors.

Will New Hope Kids be available?

New Hope Kids will not be available, however, you are welcome to bring your children with you to service.  Please include your children in your reservation.

Will online service be available?

Yes! We encourage you and your ‘ohana to continue to join us online.  We also encourage those who have underlying health conditions, are in a high-risk health group, or uncomfortable joining us in person to join us online at newhopeleeward.org , on our NHL app, YouTube, or Facebook.

Will you have refreshments?

During this time, we will not be serving refreshments.
